Silica-nitride ceramic cups are designed to run up to 40% cooler than standard alumina ceramic cups. Oven curing in a pure nitrogen environment creates a much denser grain structure. Silica-Nitride Super Cups eliminate the potential for thermal shock which can result in standard cups cracking, splitting and melting when exposed to high AC amperage TIG welding jobs. Options below for available sizes with interchangeable Weldcraft part numbers.
*Please note* CK recommends using their 3GHSLD insulators. Other brands may not set the cup correctly and will lead to premature failure of the cup.
